First, I spent this Saturday morning figuring out how to make my GoPro Hero 7 Silver produce video at 16:9 aspect ratio. This is great news because it means that I will no longer film with at 4:3 with back bars on the left and the right.
I am still looking to replace/upgrade my camera because the settings changes reduce the image quality pretty significantly. More on that later, but still an important if little win for me this AM.
“What’s the second thing?” you ask. Well, Durbin and Holt have reintroduced the America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act in both chambers and the bill will receive it’s first stand alone hearing since it’s original introduction in 2009. Add to this that chairmanship has changed ownership and you’ll realize that this is America’s best opportunity to protect these vulnerable lands in a 100+ years. Designation under the 1964 Wilderness Act would ensure that these places remain wild while in some small way preserving these places for the indigenous people who once called them home.
I’d like to urge you to contact your Congress monsters and ask them to co-sign the bill as soon as possible.
