First, I’m really looking forward to this race.  The sprint sounds like a lot of fun and since I’ve never done one like this before its a welcome first.  The race on Sunday is going to be challenging because I’ve got to race it at my own pace.  Some big names and fast skiers are going to be there and my goal is simply to finish.  Finally, I’m really hoping that there might be a couple of folks in the neighborhood who won’t mind cheering me on.  The sprint should actually be spectator friendly (although I anticipate that the race won’t be unless you’re well ahead of the pack and ready to ring your bell at choke points along the course).

Anyway this is where I’ll be this weekend, really looking forward to seeing you all there as well.

at Uley’s Mid Mtn Cabin (mid Mtn Start/Finish)

10:30am-4pm Individual Course is open for inspection (except for
the Guide Ridge)

5:30pm-6:30pm Registration & Mandatory Gear Check (just technical climbing gear needed) for all racers (Elevation Hotel)

7:00-8:30pm Back country ski film fest & Skimo discussion with
Italian National Team Members (Elevation Hotel)
